By accessing or using EcosystemCode ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

EcosystemCode is an AI-powered UML modeling and code generation platform. The Service provides:

  • UML Modeling Capability — Free access to create, edit, and manage UML diagrams including class diagrams, sequence diagrams, state machines, and more.
  • AI-Assisted Code Generation — The ability to generate source code from your diagrams using artificial intelligence, billed based on token consumption.

2. Billing and Pricing

Free Modeling Access: Access to the UML modeling tools, diagram editor, and project management features is provided at no cost. You may create unlimited diagrams and projects without charge.

Token-Based Billing: Code generation and AI-assisted features are billed based on token usage. Tokens are consumed when you invoke AI services such as generating code, creating diagrams from descriptions, or using the AI assistant. You are responsible for monitoring your token consumption. Payment: If you subscribe to a paid plan or purchase tokens, you agree to pay all applicable fees. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.

3. Code Generation Disclaimer

No Guarantee of Output: The code generation features of EcosystemCode utilise artificial intelligence and machine learning models. By their nature, these systems may produce unpredictable, incomplete, or incorrect results from time to time. The generated code is provided as a starting point and should not be considered production-ready without review.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all generated code before deploying it to any environment. You acknowledge that AI-generated output may contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or code that does not meet your specific requirements.

Our Commitment: We are committed to continuously improving the quality and reliability of our code generation capabilities. We actively monitor for issues and endeavour to address defects, improve accuracy, and enhance the consistency of generated output. However, we cannot guarantee that all issues will be resolved or that the output will be error-free.

4. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ECOSYSTEMCODE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your requirements;
  • Any errors in the Service or generated code will be corrected;
  • The Service will be compatible with any other software, hardware, or systems.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ECOSYSTEMCODE, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
  • Any code generated by the Service;
  • Unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content;
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
  • All activities that occur under your account;
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account;
  • Ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service;
  • Use the Service to generate malicious code, malware, or code intended to cause harm;
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent;
  • Use automated systems to excessively consume resources or circumvent usage limits.

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of any diagrams, specifications, and inputs you provide to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the Service.

Generated Code: Code generated by the Service from your diagrams and specifications is yours to use. However, you acknowledge that similar code may be generated for other users based on similar inputs.

Our Service: The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, remains the property of EcosystemCode.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
